Johanna Herbst Artist Management
After studying musicology at the University of Vienna, Johanna Herbst began her professional career as a trainee at Deutsche Grammophon in Berlin. She later joined Centre Stage Artist Management, where she worked with artists such as Piotr Beczała, Regula Mühlemann, and Joseph Calleja, gaining her first experience in artist management.
In 2017, Johanna Herbst became an Assistant Artist Manager at the Künstlersekretariat am Gasteig in Munich and was promoted to Artist Manager in 2019. Additional key positions included several summers in the artistic administration of the Salzburg Festival, as well as many years of supporting Unitel in marketing-related tasks.
She is also a guest lecturer in the music theater program at the Theaterakademie August Everding and the Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen, where she teaches “Professionalization”.
