Earlier this week in Hamburg: a surreal combination of concerts. One night, Ema Nikolovska performed Schumann’s Dichterliebe with Martha Argerich at the Martha Argerich Festival; the very next night, she sang Schubert and Brahms with Sir András Schiff at the Elbphilharmonie.
It was incredible to see Ema perform with these two legends and to experience the life they bring to every sound.
